ahhh there's a stupid flu bug spreading. Having headache spells here and there, must be the unpredictable weather. One minute it rains, the next moment it's bright and hot. Didn't have water training yesterday because of the 1 star course (grahh.. and competition's coming up in 2 wks!) okay, I'm too lazy to type out everything that happened during the course, so I'm just going to kope this from our girls' team blogg:

so, while the sexy instructor mr goh (you carry the boat wrongly then when your friend asks you whatś 5+5 you say 9!) was teaching kexin the important techniques of How To Capsize Drill In An Uncappable Banana Boat, the rest of the girls (who were supposed to be practising the ever so vital J-STROKE and SWEEP) decided to raft up in the noob pond. this lead directly to incident #1:

(GIRLS ARE RAFTED UP, FACING THE BOARDWALK OF THE NOOB POND)

minqi (or someone near her): OMGOMG GIRLS WHATŚ THAT! *points at suspicious figure rising out of the noob pond*

selene: ITŚ A KOMODO DRAGON!

*panic ensures*

meera, cheryl, deb, michelle, jiaqi, minqi: panic and freak out, because it really does look like a komodo dragon head

selene: frantically break raft and paddles in opposite direction

bern and ge: SCREAM, FREAK OUT, PUSH JIANRONG AND SITI RESPECTIVELY TOWARDS KOMODO DRAGON THREAT

it is in times of crisis that one knows who oneś friends are are. bern and ge FAIL the friendship test. 0/100 (HEM HEM, CORRECTION HERE. I didn't push jianrong towards the "lizard" okay! It was just a SLIGHT bump)

anyway, brave siti and jr (and some other person, can remember who) row out to komodo dragon threat. they approach it with valor, while in the hearts of their teammates (and ex-friends) lies only trepidation and an intense need to pee in their pants. siti whacks the head with her 1kg SCF paddle.

siti: eh, itś just a log la! it has been here since this morning!
jr: yeah, anyway, your screaming would have scared it away.

everyone: CHEH. (feel embarassed about freaking out)

meanwhile, kenneth notices the commotion and realizes itś cause.

kenneth: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
all the guys, upon finding out: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

so the honourable name of the rjc j1girl canoeists was dragged in the mud.
